The calculations are verified by conducting an 8–12-hour trial run of the line, and the parameters are adjusted if deviations exceed 10%.

First, the technical parameters of each element of the line are recorded, including the feed size of the raw material, rock hardness, and the permissible throughput of the crusher and screens; then, the flow of raw material between the units is modelled, taking into account the compaction factor and losses during conveyance, and the final figure is adjusted to reflect the actual operating conditions at the specific plant.
Most often, specialists overlook the difference between a crusher’s rated and actual capacity when processing particularly hard raw materials; another common mistake is failing to take into account the time required for maintenance and scheduled shutdowns, and sometimes fail to account for discrepancies in the throughput capacity of individual line components, which leads to bottlenecks in certain sections
To verify the accuracy of the calculations, a trial run of the production line is carried out using standard raw materials for 8–12 hours; the actual volume of finished products is recorded and compared with the figures obtained previously; if deviations exceed 10%, the operating parameters of individual units are adjusted to bring the indicators into line with actual production requirements
