The SZ-450D is a heavy-duty, tracked mobile screening plant designed for the preliminary screening, separation and grading of coarse-grained materials. The plant operates effectively with rock, crushed stone, ore, coal, construction waste and other heavy materials. The mobile screen has a capacity of between 200 and 500 tonnes per hour, making it suitable for use in large quarries, mining operations and processing sites.
The SZ-450D mobile screen is designed for the continuous processing of large volumes of raw material. The maximum feed size is less than 500 mm. Thanks to its reinforced construction, stable feed rate and efficient vibration system, the unit delivers a throughput of 200–500 tonnes per hour, depending on the characteristics of the feed material, the screen mesh size and the required finished product fractions.
The plant is equipped with a double-deck screen with a working surface measuring 5,150 × 1,550 mm. In a single operating cycle, the material can be separated into three distinct fractions. The vibration amplitude is adjustable within a range of 8–10 mm, and the screen configuration is selected to suit the type of raw material and the customer’s requirements. This system ensures precise separation of the material and reduces the number of re-processing operations.
To ensure a uniform feed of large and heavy material, the SZ-450D is fitted with a Model 1038 chain-type plate feeder measuring 1000 × 3800 mm. The feeder’s robust design is suitable for handling abrasive rock, coarse crushed stone, construction scrap and wet raw materials. The controlled feed rate helps to reduce overload on the screen and maintain stable throughput across the entire screening line.
Each sorted fraction is discharged via a separate belt conveyor. The mobile screening plant is equipped with one main conveyor and two side conveyors, enabling separate piles of finished material to be formed directly on site. The adjustable unloading height simplifies the storage of the product and the loading of material onto lorries or into downstream crushing equipment.
The tracked undercarriage allows the SZ-450D mobile scalper to be moved quickly around a quarry, construction site or industrial site. The unit is suitable for use on uneven ground, in mountainous areas, on confined sites and in building demolition zones. No complex foundation is required to start work, so the equipment can be quickly commissioned and moved between work sites.
The SZ-450D is available with either an electric or a combined diesel-electric power system. Electric mode is suitable for stationary operation where an external mains supply is available, whilst the on-board diesel generator ensures autonomous operation at remote sites. The machine’s total operating power is 59.4 kW, and its approximate fuel consumption is 13–15 litres per hour.
This heavy-duty mobile screen is used to pre-separate fine and coarse fractions before the material is fed into the crusher. Pre-screening reduces the load on the crushing equipment, minimises wear on working components and increases the overall productivity of the processing line. The SZ-450D is suitable for screening ore, granite, basalt, limestone, gravel and other rock types.
The plant can be used for processing concrete, bricks, asphalt and mixed construction and demolition waste. Separating the material into several fractions makes it possible to recover reusable raw materials, reduce waste volumes and lower transport costs. Its mobile design makes the SZ-450D a convenient solution for temporary and constantly changing processing sites.
The heavy-duty mobile screen is effective for processing coal, slag, industrial by-products and other heavy or abrasive materials. Customised screen selection enables the production of finished fractions of the required size for further processing, storage or transport. The equipment’s robust design is engineered for intensive use in demanding industrial environments.
The SZ-450D’s transport dimensions are 14,500 × 3,750 × 3,450 mm, and the machine’s total weight is approximately 32 tonnes. Upon delivery, the unit is quickly moved into its operating position without the need for lengthy installation work. The working width, with the conveyors extended, is up to 8,000 mm, ensuring convenient separation and storage of the three finished fractions.
The SZ-450D combines a throughput of up to 500 tonnes per hour, the ability to handle material up to 500 mm in size, a two-deck screening system, three discharge conveyors and tracked mobility. The plant helps to reduce the number of pieces of equipment on site, lower the costs of raw material handling and improve the efficiency of the crushing and screening complex. The screen configuration, feed system and operating parameters can be adapted to the conditions of a specific project.
To select the appropriate configuration, you need to take into account the type of feed material, the maximum feed size, the required throughput and the dimensions of the final fractions. Please provide our specialists with details of your project to receive a technical proposal, equipment configuration and a cost estimate for the SZ-450D mobile sorting plant.
