When selecting the lining, take into account the hardness of the material to be crushed and the geometry specific to the model; avoid non-genuine parts. When replacing the lining, clean the chamber, secure the parts in accordance with the instructions, and carry out a test run. Regular inspection and correct operation can extend its service life by 1.5–2 times.

Key criteria for selecting a lining

When selecting a liner, focus first and foremost on the hardness and abrasiveness of the material to be crushed: high-manganese steels are suitable for hard rock, whilst chromium-alloyed steels are suitable for soft and abrasive raw materials. Always check that the geometry of the liner matches the chamber specifications of your crusher model; do not use non-genuine parts of dubious origin, as they wear out quickly and may damage the housing.

Rules for replacing the lining

Before replacement, thoroughly clean the chamber of any residual raw materials and check the housing mounting surfaces for any deformation. Fit the parts in sequence, tighten all fasteners securely in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and do not overtighten the bolts to avoid causing cracks in the lining itself. After installation, carry out a test run without load to ensure the parts fit correctly and that there are no unusual noises.

Measures to extend the service life

Regularly inspect the lining for localised wear; if wear is uneven, rotate symmetrical components to distribute the load evenly. Do not allow the crusher to operate with an empty chamber, as this leads to impact wear on components without the cushioning effect of the raw material. Adhering to these simple rules will extend the service life of the lining by one and a half to two times and reduce equipment maintenance costs.
