The 160 kW mobile jaw crusher is suitable for hard and medium-hard rocks, ores and construction waste, but not for sticky, wet materials. For hard materials, set the eccentric speed to 280–320 rpm; for construction waste, set it to 330–360 rpm. Adjust the jaw gap to the required particle size and feed the material evenly to extend the service life.
The 160 kW mobile jaw crusher is a versatile piece of equipment for processing hard and medium-hard rock, ores and construction waste; it is not suitable for sticky, wet materials. Selecting the correct operating mode has a direct impact on its productivity and service life.
This crusher performs excellently on granite, basalt, limestone, quartzite and iron ore, as well as on recycled concrete and broken bricks; its 160 kW power output is sufficient for crushing materials with a compressive strength of up to 320 MPa; it is not recommended to feed clay, wet sand or viscous slurries into it, as these will block the discharge openings and cause the equipment to stop working.
For hard, dense materials, set the speed to between 280 and 320 revolutions per minute; which will ensure sufficient splitting force without excessive strain; for medium-hard construction waste, a speed of 330–360 revolutions per minute is suitable; this setting increases productivity and does not lead to rapid wear of the jaw plates.
The gap between the movable and fixed jaws must be set precisely to the required dimensions of the finished product; the gap should not be set below the minimum permissible value for the specific model; materials must be fed evenly across the entire width of the crushing chamber, avoiding sudden changes in feed volume; this prevents motor overload and extends the service life of the crusher’s components.
