To ensure the stable and safe operation of a mobile jaw crusher and to extend its service life, the following rules must be observed: check the safety guards before starting up, prevent metal from entering the crushing chamber, and stop the machine immediately if any unusual noises are heard; adjust the jaw clearance, the shaft speed to suit the feed material and the feed rate; clean the crushing chamber regularly, check the wear on the jaws, change the lubricant and monitor fluid levels.
As a reliable workhorse on the production site, a mobile jaw crusher requires strict adherence to operating procedures and correct adjustment to ensure stable, fault-free operation, extend its service life and prevent hazardous situations on site.
Before each start-up, check that all protective casings and interlock systems are intact; ensure that no foreign metal objects enter the crushing chamber; do not leave the equipment unattended whilst it is running, and carry out an emergency stop if any unusual knocking or vibrations occur.
Set the gap between the jaws in accordance with the required size of the finished fraction, adjust the rotational speed of the eccentric shaft to suit the type of raw material being processed, and check that the material feed is uniform to prevent the motor from being overloaded and to avoid uneven wear on the working surfaces.
After each shift, clear the crushing chamber of any remaining raw material; check the wear on the jaw plates every 100 hours of operation and adjust their position if necessary; change the grease in the bearing assemblies in good time; and check the fuel and hydraulic fluid levels in the hydraulic system before starting the machine.
