A single mobile plant can process concrete containing reinforcing bars and asphalt by feeding the materials sequentially into the receiving hopper, with large foreign objects being removed manually beforehand, with the proportion of rebar recovered at the output amounting to 98% – this is the engineering reference range
When processing reinforced concrete, the line first passes the material through a primary jaw crusher, after which the reinforcement is extracted by an electromagnet mounted above the conveyor, with a working area 1,200 mm wide – this is the official specification; when processing asphalt, it is sufficient simply to pass the material through the second-stage rotary crusher without any additional adjustment to the metal extraction unit
Switching between the reinforced concrete processing mode and the asphalt processing mode takes no more than 15 minutes – this is based on actual measurements – and all that is required is to adjust the position of the damper at the outlet of the first crusher and switch the electromagnetic separator on or off.
The particle size distribution of the resulting crushed aggregate from recycled concrete and asphalt falls within the range of 0–40 mm (this is the engineering reference range), whilst the content of foreign impurities in the finished product does not exceed 1.2% (this is the measured data)
The feed hopper width of 2,300 mm is the official specification; the jaw crusher feed opening is adjustable within the range of 50–150 mm, which is the official specification; the working width of the electromagnetic separator is 1,200 mm, which is the official specification; The maximum size of a single piece of raw material that can be fed is 800 mm, which is the official specification. The length of the main conveyor is 12 metres, which is the official specification.
Is it possible to feed concrete containing reinforcing bars and asphalt into the production line at the same time? No, feeding two different types of raw material simultaneously results in an uneven load on the crushing units and reduces the efficiency of reinforcing bar recovery.
Is any additional maintenance required on the production line after processing asphalt, prior to processing concrete? No additional cleaning of the production line components is required after processing asphalt; it is sufficient simply to carry out a standard check of the tightness of the bolted joints before starting the next processing cycle
What is the particle size distribution of the finished product when both materials are processed? Under standard line settings, the finished product has particle sizes ranging from 0 to 40 mm – this is the engineering reference range, which meets the requirements for recycled crushed stone used as road sub-base fill.
